Vardan Aslibekyan is a seasoned FinTech executive with more than a decade of leadership experience in digital payments, banking, and technology-driven financial services. He currently serves as the Director of MegaPay (Pvt) Ltd. – Pay&Go, one of Sri Lanka’s most diversified and innovative FinTech companies. Under his leadership since 2015, Pay&Go has grown from operating the country’s largest self-service terminal network into a comprehensive digital payments ecosystem that includes a FinTech mobile app and Smart POS solutions, enabling seamless cash and digital transactions for over two million customers and more than one hundred partners nationwide.

Vardan brings strong strategic vision and a proven track record in driving growth, operational efficiency, and product innovation. Prior to joining Pay&Go, he built a solid foundation in the banking sector at VTB Bank (Armenia), where he held progressive roles in retail sales, product development, affiliate program management, and customer acquisition. His experience spans direct sales, partnership development, and the launch and optimization of retail financial products.

In addition to his executive role at Pay&Go, Vardan also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, contributing his expertise in strategy, digital transformation, and corporate governance.

He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Management from the Armenian State University of Economics. Vardan is fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English, and is deeply passionate about innovation, financial inclusion, and shaping the future of digital payments in the region.
